Dear members of SACC
How's your final exam going. I really hope, at least for our members, we all have a great result of the exam.
By the way, the term we have worked together and made a lot of pregresses since the SACC built, almost
finished. As some of us know , or not, we will get a domain from Columbia college and we will begin to make a new web
site soon (maybe during the vacation). Until then, I may not update this web pages for a while, and when building a new
web is done, I will shortly announce by sending E-mail to all of us. So, you will be able to contact the new web page
from following semester.

Hi guys this is Mike. As you know International day has been
post ponded
until next Friday, but ESL students have a big meeting that day, so they
cannot participate.And yesterday
Tresa suggested me that we can have
international day on Monday 28th. We will talk about it in the meeting on
Moday,

1.
Thanks for your help for the Halloween events
– The events we had prepared for successfully finished. Without your help, we can not imagine how we deploy the
events. However, we still have many events to do. We still need your help.
2. Election. <29th Nov>
l Apply for candidates.
- Tomorrow, SACC members will announce
about the election in each class and will encourage students to apply for the election.
- The application form for candidates will be given by Tresa in the student service. Due date to apply
is 14th Nov. (deadline)
- To be a candidate,
you are asked to have at least 5 supporters include 2 teachers. (More detail
and such as required references will be shortly informed)
** The supporters can be out of our college.
- Candidates will have 2 weeks for the campaign from 16th Nov.
l Promote the election

We will have in-class announcement from tomorrow.

We will make posters for the election and international day’s events tomorrow.

On Nov 14th, the candidates will join the meeting with us.
3. International day. (18th Nov.)

International day is for representing our own country and expressing our own
custom such as music, clothes, food, dancing, movies, books…

Budget for each group will be provided
-
Deadline for signing up by 16th Nov.

For best display table and performances will be
granted prize.

There will be some restrictions. ( will be announced)

Hi guys, this is Mike again. I just wanna let you know that you don't have meeting on
Monday OCT/31. The reason is that it's holloween and all of us have been working hard for the holloween, so we decide to cancel
the meeting. Another thing I have to tell you guys is that people who signed up for the holloween day assistents have to come
and see either Li(The leader of the event holder team) or Treasa, so people who signed up between 10-11 have to go see Treas
in her office, and another people who signed up between 11-12 have to go see Li at the student lounge on 6th floor, and the
people in the last group, 12-13, have to go find Treasa on 6th floor at the student lounge as well. Thanks for your help guys.
